At Public Consulting Group International (PCG), we are driven by a mission to deliver solutions that matter. We partner with healthcare organizations, government agencies, and community-focused institutions to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. As a trusted partner to Cinq Care, we are recruiting Community Field Outreach Workers to support a short-term, high-impact initiative focused on engaging residents in underserved communities throughout Marion, Cairo, and Anna, IL. Outreach Workers will go door-to-door in designated neighborhoods to locate individuals who may require hospital-level medical attention and connect them to appropriate resources. 

This is a temporary, field-based role ideal for individuals with strong people skills, a commitment to helping others, and comfort working in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned areas to knock on doors and speak with residents face-to-face
• Identify individuals who appear to be in need of medical support or hospitalization
• Follow engagement scripts and maintain professionalism at all times
• Document outreach attempts and results using a mobile form or checklist
• Report safety issues, concerns, or high-need individuals to the supervising team
• Participate in briefings, check-ins, and end-of-day summaries as requested 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable walking and working outdoors in various conditions
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to navigate neighborhoods safely and respectfully
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass a background check

Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior experience in outreach, canvassing, case management, or human services
• Familiarity with the communities of Southern Illinois
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or other local languages

Additional Information

• This is a temporary role expected to last approximately 3 months
• Work will primarily be during daylight hours
• Candidates may be grouped into teams for safety and efficiency
• This is a W2 hourly position; mileage reimbursement may be provided
