SUMMARY


ModernControls is a leading provider of HVAC and building automation services for commercial facilities across Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey. With over 220 employees, 4 locations, and a fleet of over 140 service vehicles, our team of experts install, maintain, and design Building Automation and HVAC systems designed to help building owners and facility managers control building environments and operating costs.


The service coordinator is a critical player in the DC Branch team. Our Service Coordinator is responsible for engaging with customers and technicians on behalf of our company. Their duties include answering phone calls and or emails from customers, dispatching service technicians, and assessing manpower needs.


Key Responsibilities:


• Supports all the operations team

• Data entry; accurately

• Creates Work Orders for Customers

• Organizes notes and records in the dispatch screen

• Interacts and dispatch service technicians daily 

• Generates and reviews all field purchase orders

• Answer HIGH volume of calls, listening intently to the caller’s information

• Assess and prioritize calls according to urgency

• On call support

• Analyze data from previous work orders

• Help locate and generate leads for new jobs

• Following up with clients or customers to check that they’re still satisfied with all services

• Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client’s or customer’s questions

• Escalating queries and concerns

• Troubleshooting common issues with a product or service

• Follow up on the status of parts with vendors and customers

• Ensure all customers’ information is updated and accurate

• Experience in a similar role

• Computer proficiency

• Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Office

• In person office based role with frequent interactions with field technicians, customers, and vendors

Salary Description
$52,000 - $70,000 Depending on Experience
