BeVera Corps is a civilian network of public health and industry professionals who have registered to be available to the CDC for short term assignments. As the primary coordinator of this network, BeVera Solutions, LLC provides emergency response support to the CDC by deploying individuals either directly or through their primary employer during public health emergencies. This robust network ensures a ready reserve of highly qualified professionals capable of delivering critical support services at a moment’s notice.
Job Description
BeVera Corps is seeking experienced and mission-driven IT professionals to join its national civilian reserve in support of the CDC during public health emergencies. Candidates may be considered for short-term assignments that draw on their technical expertise to strengthen emergency response operations. Opportunities may involve areas such as systems support, data management, cybersecurity, IT coordination, etc. Assignments vary based on CDC needs and may be remote or on-site. Professionals will help ensure the continuity, security, and efficiency of critical public health systems during times of national response.
Job Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Promptly respond to alerts about deployment opportunities
- Complete deployment agreements (with you or your employer)
- Carry out CDC-defined tasks during emergency activations (remote or on-site)
- Collaborate with CDC program managers and BeVera operational leads
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Background in information technology, computer science, systems engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Availability for short-term assignments (typically 10–60 days)
- Employer approval to deploy (required before assignment, but not to register)
- Ability to complete background screening and basic training
- Willingness to travel or work from remote locations, depending on the assignment
