Description
SUMMARY
The UX/UI designer will support Costco Auto Program and be involved in the development of multiple websites and landing pages, from conception to final release. This role will work with the front-end development team to create intuitive, attractive user interfaces. Duties will include gathering requirements, creating mock-ups, and designing layouts while balancing the usability, visual appeal, and technical feasibility of the designs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop user flows with UI mockups and protypes that clearly illustrate how digital products look and function.
- Conduct layout adjustment based on user feedback.
- Design clean visual designs through a sophisticated sense of color, typography and layout.
- Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital touch points.
- Design with an awareness of ADA compliance browser sizes, device capabilities, development limitations and product functionally.
- Gather data and user insights via Amplitude, Hotjar and other web analytics tools as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years-experience as a UI/UX Designer.
- A natural flair for creative design, including layout/composition, typography, and aesthetic coherence.
- Full understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- Extensive knowledge of Figma, which is the preferred wireframe / prototyping tool.
- Must be able to work with PCs.
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
- An ability to manage multiple projects at any one time to ensure stakeholders requirements are met.
- Ability to work independently but interact well with others in a team environment, including liaising with counterparts in copy, graphic design and FE development.
- Ability to quickly understand and resolve unfamiliar problems in a fast-moving technology space and agile development environment.
- Experience using analytics tools such as Amplitude
- Knowledge of the following technologies and tools: Photoshop, Visual Basic Studios HTML5, CSS3, UI/UX, Bootstrap, JavaScript and jQuery Visual Studios/.NET environment and related tools. Microsoft Azure is a plus.

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Salary Description
$70,000-$80,000/year
