Role Overview
The Pipe Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining various conventional lathes and mills to produce high-quality precision components. Your expertise in machine techniques and attention to detail will be pivotal in meeting strict industry standards and ensuring the flawless performance of our products.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate equipment, such as lathes, mills, threaders, grinders, bandsaws, and other tools, following technical specifications and blueprints.
- Machine pipes and components to precise measurements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with the management to optimize processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
- Performs additional duties as assigned or required.
- 2 years or more of experience as a Machinist.
- Proven experience as a machinist.
- In-depth knowledge of various machining techniques and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and precision-driven mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
- Physical requirements: sitting, standing, and walking for an 8 hour shift. Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
