Description

Purpose of the Position: The Partner Success Manager I (PSM I) is responsible for tactically driving opportunities through the sales cycle for a specific subset of AVANT Trusted Advisors (TAs). These activities are performed primarily via telephone, in-market meetings, and email. The PSM plays a vital partner in guiding the Trusted Advisors through the Avant ecosystem and acts as the primary, day to day contact for the TA’s new opportunities and questions. The PSM will be expected to meet or exceed target quota and KPI metrics. This is a full-time position. 


Essential Functions:  

  • Receiving and responding to inbound sales opportunities; managing opportunities from qualification to close 
  • Developing a solid working knowledge of AVANT products, people and resources and the benefits they provide to potential customers 
  • Providing support to Trusted Advisors including follow up, product information, quotations and closures while maintaining a high level of knowledge on all products, programs and promotions 
  • Works closely with Channel Manager team and Partner Support team to ensure high quality partner experience during the opportunity lifecycle 
  • Manage and maintain funnel via Avant CRM (Salesforce) 
  • Obtains and audits booking information via contracts/documentation, provider booking reports and closed deal True-Ups 
  • Providing forecasting and reporting as needed (Salesforce Reports; PowerBI) 

Qualification Highlights: 

  • Extremely well organized with strong attention to detail 
  • Technologically savvy; including high familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Salesforce 
  • Uses logical, practical, and systematic approach to problem solving 
  • Ability to handle, and simultaneously balance, a wide variety of multiple tasks under short time constraints 
  • Customer service orientation, including empathetic listening skills, pleasant phone personality, and positive attitude 
  • Creative problem-solving skills in assessing customer issues, identifying possible solutions, then implementing long-term strategy solutions 
  • Thrive in an environment that values high efficiency, personal dependability, and organizational commitment 
Requirements

Requirements & Experience:  

  • Undergraduate degree preferred 
  • 2-3 years’ experience 
  • Proven success in consistently achieving goals as PSM or similar work experience 
  • Can demonstrate expertise in PSM job responsibilities or similar work experience
