Technical Services Sales Representative
Description

FUNCTION:

Exempt position. Primarily a business development role for an early career professional with client-facing responsibilities, with an emphasis on establishing and maintaining relationships with diverse commercial and government clients across multiple regions. This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development for Nuclear Services. 


DUTIES:

· Will perform forward-facing sales responsibilities to include cold-calling potential customers, developing presentations and cutsheets, and meeting with technical subject-matter experts to develop strategies for success. 

· Will collaborate internally with all Perma-Fix business units and regional offices, with an external focus to maximize existing client opportunities and develop new clients. 

· Must be comfortable with travel, developing and maintaining client accounts, communicating Perma-Fix’s technical services capabilities, and meeting deadline-driven assignments. 

· Supports multiple Perma-Fix operations centers, including Gainesville, FL; Oak Ridge, TN; Atlanta, GA; and New Brighton, PA. 

· Travel required, with opportunities for networking in professional settings.

· Other duties as assigned.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

Office environment, some light lifting, bending, and reaching necessary. Job will require sitting approximately six to seven hours per day. Travel is required.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Graduate of a four-year accredited college/university

· Professional experience in a sales or client-facing position preferred. This can include internships and part-time sales responsibilities. 

· Must be able to speak and write fluently in English

· US citizenship required.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Applicants with a background in radiation health physics, nuclear engineering, or related field,

· Basic understanding of processes related to research in industrial, medical, or academic settings.
