The MH Group is seeking talented Math Teachers looking to make a difference in children's lives. These teachers will be responsible for delivering engaging, rigorous mathematics instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Common Core Standards. The ideal candidates demonstrate instructional expertise, differentiates content using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, and uses Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) methodologies to support diverse learners. As classroom leaders, teachers foster a supportive, inclusive, and high-expectation learning environment where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction using a rigorous curriculum and the Massachusetts Common Core Standards.
- Differentiate instruction and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners through Universal Design for Learning (UDL) frameworks.
- Integrate Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) strategies to support English language learners (ELLs).
- Use a variety of assessment tools and data to inform instruction and measure student growth.
- Maintain high academic and behavioral expectations, employing a restorative justice approach to classroom management.
- Collaborate with colleagues through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and shared planning times.
- Participate in formal mentoring, coaching, and professional development sessions.
- Contribute to a positive school culture and actively support school-wide initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Attend staff meetings, conferences, and school events as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related subject area (required).
- Valid Massachusetts DESE licensure in Mathematics for appropriate grade level (required).
- SEI endorsement or willingness to obtain within mandated timelines.
- Demonstrated understanding of UDL and SEI methodologies.
- No prior experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mathematics or Education.
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a charter or public school setting.
- Experience working in urban or diverse school environments.
- Proficiency with instructional technology and data-driven instruction.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time, in-person position.
- School hours: 7:45 AM – 3:20 PM; twice-monthly Wednesday meetings until 4:30 PM.
- Participation in occasional evening events and parent/teacher conferences is expected.
