Project Manager
Description

MES is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Project Manager to lead complex utility projects from initiation through closeout. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, clients, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure that scope, schedule, and budget expectations are met or exceeded.  


Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of project management: planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout  
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project execution  
  • Track and manage project budgets, schedules, and risks  
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders  
  • Prepare status reports, forecasts, and presentations for clients and leadership       
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and industry standards  
  • Mentor and support project team members including coordinators and field staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or General Business  
  • 5+ years of project management and utility experience  
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint  
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
