Job Summary:
SPL is growing and is currently looking for a Metrology Measurement Foreman in Williston, ND. The Measurement Metrology Foreman must be team oriented, proactive and goal driven. This position oversees the Measurement Department’s projects, installations, PM and operations schedule. The Foreman will recognize and resolve problems within established policies and procedures and is accountable for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of own work and the work of assigned team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance and calibration of liquid or gas meters and associated mechanical and/or electronic systems;
- Manage measurement leads, time and materials for multiple technicians per job;
- Supervise measurement crews;
- Coordinate projects to ensure that project timing, quality, and cost targets are attained;
- Assess customer’s needs and provide quotes for both materials and labor;
- Approve job tickets;
- Approve time cards;
- Oversee hiring and onboarding process of new technicians;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of two (2) years advanced knowledge and support of gas measurement systems;
- Previous experience leading a team/crew;
- Electronics and/or mechanical experience/knowledge/skills is preferred;
- Working knowledge of maintenance and installation of flow computer measurement devices;
- Knowledge of instrumentation wiring for installation of flow computers.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred. Applicable work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Travel Requirements:
Out of town stay and/or offshore stay is sometimes required.
Work Schedule:
This position will work 8-16 hours Monday-Friday in SPL’s Williston, ND location. This position is subject to overtime availability to meet deadlines.
