Description

Job Summary:

Program, operate and monitor Haas CNC machines (mills) to produce precision parts in accordance with 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation
    • Set up and operate Haas CNC machines (e.g., VF series mills, ST series lathes).
    • Load raw materials and secure them properly.
    • Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary.
       
  • Quality Control:
    • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect finished parts.
    • Verify part conformity to blueprints or CAD models.
    • Identify and correct defects in real time.
       
  • Programming & Setup (optional/advanced)
    • Create CAM routines based upon CAD Models in Fusion 360 or Inventor CAM.
    • Generate Programs and bring into HAAS CNC Controller.
    • Interpret G-code and make minor edits to CNC programs. 
    • Collaborate with team members on setup sheets and tool paths.
       
  • Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance on machines (lubrication, cleaning). 
    • Report malfunctions or worn tools to the maintenance team or supervisor.
       
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. 
    • Maintain clean and organized work area.
Requirements

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machines (Haas required) 
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings 
  • Familiarity with basic machine shop math 
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

$22.00 - $29.50
