Description

Muir Wood is a leading provider of residential behavioral health treatment for adolescents ages 12–17. We operate 17 Joint Commission-accredited programs across California, including locations in Sonoma County, Clovis, and Riverside. Our programs specialize in treating mental health and substance use disorders, offering a safe, structured, and compassionate environment that supports long-term healing for teens and their families. Each campus integrates individualized therapy, family systems work, and accredited education, all grounded in clinical excellence and a deep commitment to whole-family recovery.

At Muir Wood, the therapist is at the heart of the healing journey for adolescents and their families. This role is more than providing therapy—it’s about building trust, creating structure, and guiding young people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives with compassion, clinical excellence, and unwavering presence.

As a therapist, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, trauma-informed clinical care within our nationally accredited residential treatment program for teens ages 12–17. You’ll carry a manageable caseload and provide individual, family, and group therapy grounded in evidence-based modalities. You’ll collaborate with a tight-knit team of clinicians, care coordinators, and support care staff to ensure every client’s treatment is tailored, integrated, and responsive to their evolving needs.

This role is ideal for clinicians who are energized by working with high-acuity adolescent populations, committed to clinical excellence, and driven to make a meaningful difference. Whether licensed or working toward licensure, you’ll be supported by experienced clinical leaders, regular supervision, and a mission-focused culture that values growth, innovation, and teamwork.  This position is full-time, onsite Tuesday - Saturday from 9am - 6pm.
