The company is currently seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Operations. We are looking for an energetic, focused team player and a leader who builds on relationship and feeds off building structure, builds operations improvements, structuring performance improvement plans and managing processes to completion. Develop strategic recommendations based on data analysis, compliance and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all activities involved in the charter flight operation to ensure they are completed properly.
- Manage all formal Part 135 documents for required changes and manage all revisions with oversight from 119 DO.
- Works in coordination with 119 to communicate with the assigned FAA FSDO team.
- Maintain Operations Specifications and 4507 forms are current.
- Maintain qualified crew who meet FAR requirements.
- Oversee and manage collection of PRIA information for new hires and ensure all paperwork is handled properly.
- Manage all required pilot training and record keeping alongside training coordinator.
- Ensure flight operations personnel take all required steps to prepare for a charter flight.
- Ensures all required aircraft inspections and discrepancy reports are handled appropriately.
- Ensures records retention meets FAA requirements.
- Ensures a positive customer experience while maintaining financial goals.

Note: This is a Hybrid role and may require travel to the office.
Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of FAA regulations regarding commercial and charter operations.
- Thorough knowledge of the contents of IA’s Part 135 documentation (General Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Training Program, and HazMat Program).
- Skill in managing multiple priorities while maintaining safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Skill in balancing financial requirements with operational considerations and customer needs.
- Must work towards ATP pilot certificate
- Work towards 3 years’ experience, within the past 6 years, as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under Part 121 or Part 135.
