Description

We are seeking a Dynamic Lead Bartender to assist in a leadership role to enhance, develop, and engage with our entire Beverage Team to ensure excellent service to the Houston Country Club members.  You will be responsible for providing members with a memorable dining experience and leading the beverage staff to success. 


Responsibilities:

• Inventory control and monthly inventory counting 

• Training new team members and supporting skill development 

• Overseeing a la carte beverage service during special events 

• Supporting the development of new cocktail and beverage menu items 

• Ensuring team adherence to service standards and best practices

Requirements

 Preferred requirements 

  • Experience in bartending in a quality dining establishment 
  • Prefer at least 6 months to 1 year in a lead role for beverage staff
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A true desire to serve others and a commitment to providing high quality service
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Team player able to diplomatically foster relationships with Members, Employees and Guests
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with high member and guest interaction
  • Must be 21 years of age and have TABC certification & Food Handlers
