We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled ERP Project Manager – PLEX to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for being a key team member in providing sound business and technical support in Plex, a cloud-based ERP System including: leading customization and system integration efforts; leading maintenance of enterprise-wide system configurations and security policies; analysis of business data; project management; and coordination of the support and training of internal & external end users.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide end user support and system administration for assigned functional areas with the Plex ERP system and other assigned enterprise business systems. Troubleshoot and solve problems related to these systems.
  • Coordinate and deliver end-user training for assigned functional areas. Create and maintain up-to-date training materials for use in training sessions as well as work instructions and system documentation for use both by the Business Systems team and end-users.
  • Drive the implementation of business processes and policies to best take advantage of the technology tools in place. Identify best practices developed at Meridian locations or partners and uniformly implement them across the enterprise.
  • Champion new developments within assigned functional areas, work with end-users, process owners and management to develop specifications for system development and enhancement requests.
  • Evaluate the requests for merit, research alternatives and complete as internal developments when possible. Work with external resources when necessary to complete such requests. Track all developments throughout their lifecycle to ensure quality, accuracy, budget and schedule.
  • Perform internal security and business process audits on the Plex ERP system and other enterprise software platforms to ensure compliance with Meridian policies and standards and report audit findings on an ongoing basis.
  • Analyze business data gathered on the Plex ERP system and other enterprise software platforms to ensure compliance with Meridian policies and standards and report findings on an ongoing basis. International travel may be required on as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in an information systems field, such as CIS, BIS or MIS degree and 5-10 years’ experience as a business analyst, software developer or database administrator. Experience leading a team of technical resources would be essential. – Essential
  • A demonstrated and thorough understanding of the Plex ERP System or another mainstream ERP system, particularly in the automotive industry. Experience with SQL and/or business intelligence platforms such as Information Builders Web Focus or SAP Crystal Reports is an advantage. Additional experience with programing languages such as Visual Basic, Python or C# would also be considered a plus. – Essential
  • Demonstrated cross-functional capability; experience working in or with other business disciplines such as Accounting, Human Quality Assurance, Manufacturing or Engineering – Essential
