Westminster College is looking for a graduate assistant to support the athletic department in the area of sports information. Westminster College is a member of the NCAA Division III, competing in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) and the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC).

Essential Functions:
- Support Sports Information Director in duties such as stat keeping, record keeping, managing social media accounts, and live streaming capabilities.
- Assists in promoting and marketing the athletic department and its 19 intercollegiate athletic programs.
- Responsible for writing game recaps, and individual student-athlete stories.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Graduate Assistants may be assigned evening and weekend campus duties on a regular or occasional basis.
Experience: Students are eligible for a Graduate Assistantship at Westminster College if they have been admitted to a graduate degree program at William Woods University and enrolled in a minimum of 6 graduate level credit hours per semester in the fall and spring. Students must have achieved a 3.0 grade point average or higher as an undergrad and must maintain a cumulative 3.0 grade point while serving as a graduate assistant. An official offer cannot be extended to an applicant until the student is accepted into the graduate degree program.
Benefits and Compensation:
Graduate Assistants will receive a stipend of $1,000 per semester while holding a Graduate Assistant position. Graduate Assistants receive a tuition waiver to cover tuition costs for up to 9 credits per semester while holding the Graduate Assistantship. The College does not cover the cost of textbooks or other student fees. Graduate Assistants are required to maintain health insurance coverage while enrolled at the College, at their own expense. Graduate Assistants are required to live in campus housing which will be provided at no cost.
