Job Overview


 

We’re seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to own the execution and optimization of our marketing automation systems and digital workflows that drive customer journeys, from first contact through long-term engagement. You'll be instrumental in ensuring we deliver timely, personalized, and compliant communications to patients and partners at scale.


In this role, you will work closely with the Growth Marketing Manager to support campaign deployment and lifecycle management in Customer.io and other tools. Your work will ensure that our patient acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives run smoothly, are fully integrated with our data systems, and align with Brook’s mission to support better health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

 

Automation & Workflow Execution

  • Manage and maintain marketing automation workflows in Customer.io to support campaigns across SMS, email, direct mail, and in-app messaging.
  • Build, QA, and launch automated communication sequences that guide patients through onboarding, engagement, and long-term retention.
  • Ensure proper segmentation, data accuracy, and timing across all outreach flows.

Data Integration & Tool Management

  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to ensure accurate and timely data flow between Brook’s internal platforms, CRM tools, and third-party systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot workflow issues, delays, or anomalies in campaign performance.
  • Maintain clean, well-documented, and organized CRM structures, including event triggers, attributes, and tag management.

Customer Journey Optimization

  • Collaborate on mapping the full patient and provider journey to identify opportunities for improved automation and personalization.
  • Assist in lifecycle campaign strategy, A/B testing, and reporting in partnership with the Growth team.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all patient data and communication practices are HIPAA-compliant and aligned with Brook’s regulatory protocols.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of workflows, processes, and campaign logic.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Clinical Operations, Partner Success, and Sales teams to align digital engagement strategies with patient support and provider communication goals.
  • Provide technical support and training as needed for internal stakeholders interacting with marketing automation tools.
     

Qualifications

 

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing automation, digital marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, or a similar technical marketing role.
  • Proven experience with Customer.io, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable marketing automation platform.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey design, segmentation, and trigger-based automation.
  • Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS for email templates and comfort navigating structured data (JSON, event schemas, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with experience using Google Sheets/Excel, and bonus for BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or SQL.
  • Detail-oriented with strong QA skills and comfort managing technical workflows in a regulated environment.
  • Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or other HIPAA-compliant environments is a plus.

This position is not eligible for relocation or visa sponsorship. Candidates must live within a commuting distance from the office. This is a hybrid role, onsite in the office required weekly along with remote work.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

Salary Description
$65,000-80,000 plus variable bonus USD per year
