Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities, cultivate key industry relationships, and support market expansion efforts. This role requires a strong blend of market intelligence, technical understanding, and cross-functional collaboration to drive long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities across targeted markets and applications.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, engineering firms, and project stakeholders.
- Develop business cases for strategic initiatives based on customer insights and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, supply chain, and sales to align offerings with market needs.
- Support the development and execution of market entry and expansion strategies.
- Monitor competitive activity, emerging technologies, and industry trends to inform strategy.
- Represent the organization at industry events and customer meetings to enhance visibility and network growth.
- Contribute to pricing strategies, service offerings, and contract negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within construction or related sectors.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects from bid to execution.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to build compelling business cases.
- Familiarity with technical aspects of construction materials and infrastructure project cycles.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
- Willingness to travel regionally (~50-60%).
