The American Board of Radiology (ABR) is an independent, not-for-profit organization and one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties. We were founded in 1934 to protect the public by assessing and certifying doctors who meet specific educational, training, and professional requirements.
The ABR is seeking a dynamic Software Developer to join its IT Department, which comprises a fully remote and highly qualified team of professionals who work together in an agile software development life cycle to produce, service, and support the evolving technology and programming needs of the ABR.

JOB DUTIES include but are not limited to:
- Builds new applications and converts old applications using our modern technology stack
- Codes, tests, and maintains programs using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Aurelia & SQL
- Debugs problems with applications using appropriate techniques and methods
- Maintains confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored, or accessed
- Works with other developers, testers, and stakeholders to build and support business applications
- Keeps current with and updates technical skills
- Documents problems and resolutions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 1+ years of experience with front-end web frameworks, such as React, SolidJS, or Aurelia
- Knowledge of web development including DOM, JavaScript (ES 6 or above), HTML, CSS
- Experience building RESTful APIs with Node.js and Typescript
- Experience working with databases (MSSQL, MongoDB) preferred
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or deployment pipelines preferred
