Streetsense is seeking a savvy, energetic, and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to join our global Growth Team based in Washington, DC. This in-office role is focused on generating new business and managing a pipeline of opportunities across all Streetsense’s practice areas — including consulting, branding, marketing, and design — with a concentration in the Real Estate and Hospitality sectors.
Reporting to the Global Head of Sales, this person will play a critical role in identifying, qualifying, and converting new business opportunities while working collaboratively with senior leaders and practice area leads. This is a hands-on role that blends strategy, outreach, and execution — ideal for someone with a strong track record in sales and a network they’re ready to activate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate new business opportunities across all lines of service, including Branding, Marketing, Interior Architecture, and the Place Consulting practice area
- Manage and grow the sales pipeline, ensuring timely and consistent progression of opportunities.
- Qualify incoming leads and pursue outbound opportunities aligned with our growth strategy.
- Support and coordinate the proposal process, including pitch materials, decks, and meetings.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including the Chief Growth Officer and Global Head of Sales, to execute Streetsense’s business development plan.
- Maintain deep knowledge of pipeline activity and provide insights through regular updates and reporting.
- Conduct research on potential clients, markets, and trends to inform sales strategy.
- Cultivate relationships with prospective clients, existing contacts, and key partners to build long-term value.
- Plan and attend events that drive visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
- Maintain accurate and current records in HubSpot CRM (experience strongly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of sales or business development experience, ideally in Multifamily, Commercial, Retail Real Estate, or Hospitality.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and grow business.
- Existing network in the industry and a passion for relationship building.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; HubSpot experience a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed based on client opportunities.
- Energetic, collaborative, and self-motivated — with a strong desire to grow.
