We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and driven individual to lead our Electrical Department in the role of Electrician Supervisor at our Port Colborne, ON facility.
Tasks/Responsibilities
- Lead the Electrical department and provide direction for daily tasks.
- Ensure general compliance of electrical equipment and systems used for internal testing.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
- Assemble electrical systems which include running conduit, pulling wires and terminating devices and panels.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Ensure compliance with various electrical codes and customer specifications.
- Support team members by providing feedback and guidance.
- Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
- Ensure proper clean up and operation of workstation/area.
- Troubleshoot and repair internal equipment as necessary.
- Maintain high safety standards and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
- Always work safely as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the organizations’ policies and procedures.
- Assist Assembly Technicians and Testers when required.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Overtime as needed
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Rigid conduit
- Experience running conduit/cable tray, pulling wires and terminating equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Must have a valid Electrical certification
- Electrical: 3 years (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of various electrical codes and standards
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, specifications and design layouts
- Leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and able to use a tape measure
