Lonestar Equipment Solutions is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. We are seeking an experienced and motivated District Rental Manager to join our team. As a District Rental Manager, you will oversee rental operations across multiple branch locations, ensuring equipment readiness and operational excellence at each site. You will lead branch managers and their teams, coordinate maintenance and repairs, support regional sales efforts, and collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives. Your primary focus will be meeting the needs of our customers across the region, maximizing profitability, and following our passion to MAKE IT HAPPEN.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and standardize the process of inspecting rental equipment for damage, safety compliance, proper decals, fuel levels, etc., across all branches to ensure every unit is safe, presentable, and in good working order for profitable use.
  • Monitor each piece of equipment’s life cycle across the district and provide strategic guidance on repairs, rotations, or replacements to maximize the value and rental potential of our fleet.
  • Ensure each branch maintains an organized, clean warehouse and yard, enforcing safety protocols and regulations to provide a secure work environment at all locations.
  • Coordinate with branch service teams to schedule and prioritize mechanics and technicians for equipment repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain high standards for equipment appearance across all locations, ensuring all rental items are clean, properly tagged or decaled, and visually appealing to customers.
  • Implement and oversee effective inventory tracking so that all rental equipment is in its correct location and properly tagged at each branch, enabling easy identification and transfer of assets when needed.
  • Review regional market trends and rental data to develop pricing and product strategies for each branch’s market. Discuss and recommend adjustments to optimize rental revenue and remain competitive across the district.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop branch rental managers and their teams, fostering an energetic, proactive, and customer-focused culture that aligns with our values across all branches.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set performance goals for the district’s rental operations, and drive initiatives to achieve and exceed those targets. Analyze branch performance metrics and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and with customers.
  • Exceptional leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in the equipment rental or related industry is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role (leading teams or overseeing multiple locations), with a track record of driving results and operational improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the use of data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to various branch locations within the region. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for travel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently works in and around warehouse environments and industrial equipment. Branch locations may not be climate-controlled and can involve exposure to heat, humidity, and other outdoor conditions.
  • Noise levels in work areas can be loud at times, consistent with equipment and construction environments.
  • Must be able to move around within warehouses and yards, including standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting or moving equipment or materials. This position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
  • Ability to travel between branch locations on a regular basis.
