Job Summary: The Plant Manager oversees all daily operations of the facility to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective production. This leadership role is responsible for managing personnel, processes, quality control, safety compliance, and maintenance while driving continuous improvement and meeting business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Fully responsible and accountable for all processing, drying, maintenance, and cleaning operations at 101 Plant.

· Responsible for supervision and organization of all processing, drying, and maintenance activities and employees on all shifts.

· Confirm adequate staffing for all shifts including hiring and terminations, coordinate staffing coverage for employee time off, discipline employees as needed in accordance with 101 procedures, and communicate staffing needs with VP of Operations and HR.

· Manage direct reports in the completion of all documentation, analysis, reporting, and training.

· Confirm procedural consistency (cGMPs) in all activities; assist in creating new and revising existing cGMPs.

· Provide training to all team members; be educated on the latest procedures and confirm all processing employees are following them.

· Review and coordinate load scheduling, understand schedule priorities and forecasts, and communicate load completion with Dispatch, Processing Teams, Drying Teams, and Operations Coordinators.

· Forecast liquid and powder feed production and adjust plant schedules to stay ahead of inbound loads.

· Develop, monitor, and update schedule for processing and drying teams. Coordinate with dispatch and sales teams to manage labor and equipment operation across multiple shifts/runs.

· Observe condition of the plant and grounds areas at all times; coordinate cleaning activity to maintain all 101 standards.

· Confirm daily supervisor checklists are being completed.

· Organize parking area. Coordinate parking of all 101 and 3rd party trailers so they are uniform and safe from damage.

· Review and approve payroll weekly.

· Responsible for 24-hour emergency troubleshooting and operational issues.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in plant operations, manufacturing, or production leadership, preferably in food, agriculture, or environmental services industries
  • Demonstrated success in supervising and developing teams across multiple shifts
  • Strong knowledge of cGMPs, safety compliance, and quality control standards
  • Ability to manage scheduling, inventory, and logistics in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness to be on call 24/7 for plant-related emergencies
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
