HR Assistant

At SOLO, we're revolutionizing solar sales enablement with cutting-edge SaaS solutions that help businesses scale and thrive. We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team. This role plays a key part in creating a smooth and welcoming employee experience, supporting day-to-day HR operations, office coordination, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience as an HR Assistant or HR Coordinator and is eager to support a fast-paced, mission-driven team. This role can be structured as either a full-time or part-time position depending on the candidate’s availability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling interviews, preparing documents, and supporting onboarding logistics.
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital HR records and filing systems.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation, including preparing welcome materials and coordinating workspace setup.
  • Support coordination of employee events, engagement initiatives, and office celebrations.
  • Assist with light facilities and office management tasks, such as managing supplies, coordinating with vendors, and supporting a clean, organized work environment.
  • Greet and support office visitors and vendors, directing them as needed.
  • Help track HR-related expenses, supplies, and event budgets.
  • Respond to internal HR-related inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Provide backup support for executive scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to building and security protocols.
Requirements

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar administrative role supporting an HR function.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in HR, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (GSuite) and HR systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Salary Description
$17-21 /hr
