Description


The Assistant Vice President, Off Premise Sales Century Division, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Century Division sales force against the Martignetti and supplier sales objectives. This position’s other responsibilities include hiring, training, and coaching the Century Division’s sales personnel, maximizing performance and execution, fostering strong supplier relationships, and ensuring alignment with our corporate goals. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to deliver measurable results.


Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for managing and achieving Century Division Off premise objectives
  • Hire, train, and manage Century Division District Managers and their teams, ensuring maximum execution and alignment with divisional quantitative and qualitative goals. Conduct regular review meetings with all reports to evaluate performance against KPIs, market activations and strategic initiatives.
  • Responsible for maximization of sales tools and IT resources (Gateway, Martignetti Exchange, Go Spot Check among others) within the Century selling division. This will include special attention to sales force e-commerce capabilities and improving their skills and engagement.
  • Lead the divisional training platform and sales process.
  • Establish corrective measures, where necessary, to ensure improved performance and adherence to agreed upon performance standards
  • Work with divisional leadership on converting annual supplier sales plans into successful market execution
  • Support divisional leadership in tracking and streamlining targets in the division by class of trade, traffic designation and consumer segmentation. 
  • Create & execute corporate category management to deliver results on key categories and brands
  • Development of processes, tools, systems and training that deliver against Key Performance Indicators.
  • Management of suppliers / key account investments to ensure sales results and to grow overall market share.

Accountabilities

  • Accountable for District Manager capability improvement and certification on the 9 selling processes to deliver strategic executional metrics throughout the Division.
  • Accountable for maintaining and building strong supplier relationships.
  • Accountable for achieving the fiscal year sales, gross profit, inventory and variable      expense budgets for Century Ownership.
  • Accountable for additional divisional performance on Focus Brands, Category Management,      Aged Inventory, SKU counts


Requirements


Education/Training/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5+ years of Sales Management and/or Portfolio Management experience, with a strong background in spirits & fine wine.
