Description

The position of assistant coach is a full-time position reporting to the head coach of the men's and women's cross country and track and field teams. This role is part of the overall cross country/track and field coaching team and assists with the coaching and administrative duties of the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field programs. Greenville University is seeking applicants with experience coaching long, triple and high jump athletes.


Specific responsibilities include: designing and implementing training programs and practice regimens for long, triple and high jump athletes; evaluating and recruiting prospective cross country and track and field student-athletes; monitoring the academic performance of certain track and field student-athletes as assigned by the head track and field/cross country coach; and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Greenville University is an NCAA DIII Christian Liberal Arts University located in Greenville, IL. All applicants should be Jesus followers and will need to provide a statement of faith as part of the application process.


- Bachelor's degree

- Previous coaching or athletics experience


Salary Band: $29,250-$88,000/ Annually. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions and department budget.
