Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support utility clients across the Mid-Atlantic region. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in validating protection and control schemes in substations, ensuring systems perform as designed and meet rigorous industry standards. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and project teams in a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define and verify protection zones clearly and accurately.
Test and validate protection elements independently, including SEL and GE relays.
Perform CT/PT verification (ratios, phasing, polarity) and ensure single-point grounding.
Conduct control circuitry tests and confirm equipment phasing and orientation.
Navigate and interpret project drawing packages: one-lines, three-lines, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Perform power calculations as required for system validation.
Develop and execute relay test plans using tools such as Protection Suite, Test Universe, and RTS.
Follow established safety protocols and human performance tools.
Create protection isolation and commissioning plans tailored to each client and project.

Technical Requirements:
