LOCATION: Alternating between Park City, Heber, and Cottonwood Heights, Utah clinic locations.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE: We are willing to consider applicants who are seeking either part-time or full-time schedules


The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with patient care, maintaining patient records, and completing administrative duties that assist in the management of patient care.


MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Fields patient phone calls promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Assists provider and PA/ATC with clinical operations.
  • Rooms patients and prepares patients for scheduled procedures.
  • Comfortable and competent in casting (or willing to learn).
  • Completes shift opening and closing procedures.
  • Comfortable cross training between clinical teams.
Requirements

Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN or RN licensing/certification, preferred but not required.

Associate or 2 year degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties, preferred.

Excellent organization, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills required.

Demonstrated problem solving and workflow management skills required.

Must maintain a professional attitude towards patients and an excellent and collegial working relationship with The Orthopedic Partners Clinic and hospital personnel.

Excellent critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, and manage time effectively.

Computer and EHR software proficiency.
