Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Lead Line Cook, you will oversee kitchen operations, mentor junior staff, and ensure that all dishes are prepared to perfection.


Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

- Train and mentor junior line cooks, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.

- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.

- Ensure that all food is presented attractively and meets quality standards before serving.

- Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a line cook, with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred.

- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
