Parts Driver / Stock person

A Parts Driver/Stock person is responsible and will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our organization along with gathering auto parts from inventory. The job description of a parts driver includes the following below but are not limited to:  


Responsibilities:

  • Pulling parts return and restocking of shelves.
  • Gathering parts to fulfill orders at the auto shop 
  • Checking in and receiving parts accurately
  • Maintaining cleanliness, stocking/restocking
  • Performing safe parts pick-up 
  • Keeping parts department up-to-date 
  • Assisting in the everyday activities and various chores in the shop
  • Placing warranty parts in the storage area daily. Weekly cleaning of warranty scrap.
  • Driving: picking up parts from local vendors


Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in parts operations.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift objects and operate material handling equipment safely.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • MUST HAVE A CA DL, CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
