The position is full-time (Wednesday thru Sunday from 11:00am to 9:00pm) with competitive pay and excellent benefits.


Primary Responsibilities

The Pool & Maintenance Technician plays a dual role responsible for monitoring pool facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to community policies, while also performing general maintenance on community infrastructure, buildings, and amenities. This hybrid position supports the overall safety, appearance, and function of the property through hands-on maintenance and pool oversight.Primary Responsibilities


Primary Responsibilities

 Pool Monitoring Duties:

· Monitor pool area to ensure compliance with posted rules and safety protocols.

· Enforce pool capacity limits and resident access (e.g., checking badges).

· Ensure cleanliness of the pool area, including furniture arrangement and trash removal.

· Check pool water conditions; notify supervisor of concerns.

· Secure pool area at closing, ensuring all residents exit the premises.

· Open/close pool facilities following established procedures.

· Report any behavioral or safety issues to management.

· Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.

· General Maintenance Duties:

· Perform routine maintenance on community facilities and amenities.

· Inspect and repair pools, gates, signage, light fixtures, and equipment.

· Conduct minor plumbing, painting, electrical, and carpentry repairs.

· Complete preventative maintenance according to scheduled plans.

· Assist with contractor coordination and oversight as needed.

· Inspect drain grates, and exercise areas for issues.

· Support custodial upkeep as required (e.g., empty trash, restock supplies, Clean Bathrooms).

· Maintain logs of tasks completed and materials used.

· Any other assigned duties from Management.


Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Experience in general maintenance and/or pool monitoring preferred.

· Strong attention to detail, time management, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Basic knowledge of pool safety and facility rules (CPO certification a plus).

· Valid Florida Driver’s License.

Salary Description
$16.00 to $18.00
