We're seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to conduct comprehensive IEE assessments for students in educational settings. This flexible, contract-based position offers the opportunity to work independently while making a meaningful difference in students' lives.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations as part of Independent Educational Evaluations
  2. Complete detailed school-based observations to assess students' functional performance in their natural learning environment
  3. Participate actively in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to discuss findings and recommendations
  4. Prepare comprehensive assessment reports with evidence-based recommendations
  5. Collaborate with educational teams, families, and other professionals

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly Rate: $55-$62 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Commitment: 15-20 hours per IEE assessment
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate school schedules and IEP meeting requirements
  • Contract-based position with competitive compensation

Required Qualifications:

  1. Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  2. Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
  3. Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education law
  4. Excellent written communication skills for report writing
  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple assessments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience conducting educational evaluations or IEEs
  • School-based occupational therapy experience
  • Additional certifications in pediatric assessment tools
  • Bilingual capabilities (specify languages as needed)
