Walt Churchill’s Market is looking for a Part-Time Deli Stock Clerk for our Maumee, OH (Briarfield) location.

Job Description:

Deli Stock Clerks report to the Deli Manager and are primarily responsible for:

• Assisting in receiving and stocking products in the deli department while ensuring proper rotation and removing out-of-date products
• Maintaining general sanitation practices, food safety practices, and food storage practices within both store and health department standards
• Maintaining clean and organized retail areas and storage areas for customers and other store employees
• Being knowledgeable of all store products and their locations in order to provide outstanding customer service
• Additional duties as assigned

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 9am-3pm.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Comfortable working with the public and greeting, speaking with, and assisting customers
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
• Must be available to work Monday-Friday 9am-3pm and have holiday availability

Education & Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience loading and unloading trucks is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking (6-hr shifts)
• Repeated lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, twisting, reaching and climbing
• Must be able to frequently lift 10-50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
• Must have the ability to withstand working in cold environments often i.e. Cooler/Freezer
