We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Allergy Nurse to join our team at ASCENT. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for providing exceptional patient care in an allergy clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assessment and management of patients with allergies and related conditions.
- Perform allergy testing and interpret results under the supervision of a physician.
- Educate patients and their families about allergy management and treatment options.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide support and guidance to patients during their visits.

- Current certification/licensure in Iowa as a CMA, LPN, or RN.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in allergy or immunology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of allergy-related conditions and treatments is a plus.
