Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest physician-owned radiology practices in the country. Our growing practice includes 190 radiologists, 40 advanced practice providers, and 200 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. What we do: ARS provides radiology services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. Corewell Health Ludington Hospital is a 49-bed acute care hospital located in Mason County along the shores of Lake Michigan. Ludington Hospital offers a full range of services including a full complement of medical imaging diagnostic services such as advanced CT and MRI; a private Women's Imaging Center complete with 3D mammography, bone density testing, pelvic and breast ultrasound.


What we are looking for: We are seeking a part time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work with our onsite Radiologists 2-3 days per week.  We could also consider a full time candidate if flexible to travel to other sites. 


Responsibilities:

  • Perform various procedures to include but not limited to GI/GU fluoro procedures, lumbar punctures/myelograms, VP shunt and various pump evaluation procedures, as well as arthrocentesis, under the guidance of an attending Radiologist; Patient population includes pediatric to geriatric
  • Collaborate with ancillary services to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Accurately and efficiently document in the EMR system
  • Provide occasional weekend and call coverage as well as travel to other ARS sites of operation

Requirements
  • Michigan NP or PA licensure/certification
  • Ability to treat pediatric patients, AGNP would not meet requirements
  • A strong clinical background, procedural experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, and a desire to work in a challenging, rapidly growing environment
