Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Reports To: Loan Processing Manager

Position Summary

The Closing Coordinator plays a vital role in our loan operations, serving as the key liaison between the Sales and Processing teams to coordinate successful loan closings. This individual is responsible for identifying and scheduling mobile notaries, ensuring accurate and timely document delivery, and managing the final steps of the loan funding process. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism.

  

Key Responsibilities

Loan Closing Coordination

  • Schedule loan closings with mobile notaries across Texas and the U.S.
  • Send loan documents to notaries in advance of closings.
  • Coordinate closing logistics to ensure smooth and timely execution.

Communication & Documentation

  • Act as the primary point of contact for notaries regarding loan closings and document inquiries.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding documentation and missing items.
  • Update internal systems with loan status and document notes.

Support & Administration

  • Maintain and grow a roster of qualified notaries; recruit as needed.
  • Submit notary invoices and enter payables accurately.
  • Support scanning, mailing, and other document processing functions as needed.
  • Assist the Senior Closing Coordinator and the broader Loan Processing team as requested.

   

Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in loan processing, notary coordination, or administrative support preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe. Comfortable working with digital documents and databases.

Salary Description
$18.50-$20.50
