We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Calculus Subject Matter Expert to assist in optimizing our educational content. This role requires a blend of subject matter expertise, curriculum development skills, and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, technically proficient, and excels in communication (English Language), leadership, and strategic thinking, while holding a strong proficiency in teaching and developing Calculus-level content.  

This role will involve curriculum development and content creation regarding Calculus content, specifically limits, derivatives, integrals, and series. The curriculum and content generated will involve procedural, conceptual, higher-order thinking, and application-based learning. This role is considered a full-time temporary role for 4-6 months with the potential to grow beyond this.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Calculus-level curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and academic standards.
• Work with product leads to enhance existing curriculum to improve clarity, engagement, and instructional effectiveness.
• Work closely with both the Hawkes US and India team to manage ongoing projects and work.
• Think strategically to improve content delivery and instructional methodologies.
• Work with internal stakeholders to communicate ongoing updates.

• Master's degree in mathematics preferred.
• Experience in writing, editing, and building curriculum for various educational levels.
• Teaching experience at the college level in Calculus (preferred); will consider teaching experience at the high school level in Calculus.
• Strong instructional background in Calculus and general math education.
• Exceptional written and oral skills, as well as strong technical skills with technology.
• Strong customer service mindset.
