Job Duties
Responsible for enhancing revenue growth by (a) providing technical service and training to customers, (b) participating in sales and customer relationship development, (c) providing guidance and technical assistance to the Greener sales department, and (d) contributing to the improvement and development of Greener products.
• Provide training, line evaluations, troubleshooting, technical service, and crimper set-up and installations to customers.
• Maintain and assist in developing relationships and generating revenue with customers at both plant and corporate levels.
• Evaluate the current state of customers' packaging operations and present quality and efficiency improvement recommendations to the customer and Greener sales personnel in both verbal and written formats.
• Provide technical guidance and training to the sales department as needed.
• Participate in parts and service sales efforts with prospects and existing customers.
• Prepare thorough and professional technical reports for customers
• Develop and provide technical service quotations for customers
• Gather information and measurements, and provide sketches necessary to provide part quotations to customers
• Participate as required in the design and development of new products as well as the improvement of current products
• Expected to spend at least 50% of working time outside the office visiting customers. This will primarily involve domestic travel, but may also include some international trips.
• Plan, schedule, and book travel and appointments necessary to perform responsibilities
• Participate in trade show staffing as required.
• Assist in developing marketing and technical literature (brochures, white papers, etc.)
• Prepare customer visit summaries, activity reports, and expense reports as required by the sales/service manager.
• Continue personal skill development by participating in educational opportunities, reading relevant publications, participating in professional organizations, etc., to improve knowledge of (1) market trends, (2) packaging methodology and trends, and (3) technological advancements
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to travel and spend at least 50% of working time outside the office visiting customers. This will primarily involve domestic travel, but may also include some international trips.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience with horizontal form/fill/seal flow wrapping or vertical form/fill/seal bagging machinery
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to relate and communicate effectively with coworkers and customers (at all levels)
• Ability to develop plans in alignment with company goals and objectives and execute accordingly
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical blueprints
• Ability to utilize precision measuring tools

• Ability to stay focused and composed under pressure while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent troubleshooting or problem-resolution skills
• Proficient in the use of software programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
• Physically capable of navigating a production environment
