 JOB SUMMARY: 


 This position will be expected to manage the processes and logistics for projects and programs (National Teacher Ambassadors for FFA) of the Educational Development team. 


Additionally, the ideation, creation and development of FFA educational resources (mainly featured on ffa.org within Educator Resources). The candidate will work collaboratively with programs around the organization to ensure that the most effective collaboration, development and educational methodologies and technologies are being utilized.


 The candidate will be expected to:

  1. Execute the operational and functional aspects of the teacher ambassador program,
  2. Operate programs, processes, and logistics for team efforts,
  3. Update and review educational content (lesson plans, classroom activities, online learning resources) and strategies to support specific outcomes,
  4. Collaborate with staff in the revision and creation of engaging educational materials,
  5. Provide guidance and insight to help bridge the gap between corporate partners and educators. 


  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS:

  

  • Integrate creativity and ideation into existing and new resources/projects.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment to align educational resources with the organization’s mission, visions, and precepts.
  • Operate processes and logistics for projects. Including the operational and functional aspects of logistics for programming (national Teacher Ambassador for FFA program).
  • Demonstrate an understanding of agricultural education philosophy and best practice methodology in relationship to the FFA mission and program.
  • Provide robust educational methodology to enhance educational resources and services.
  • Work with cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of projects.
  • Utilize effective problem-solving and time-management skills to execute complex projects.
  • Prioritize, organize, use time-management skills, and be adept at multi-tasking.
  • Manage relationships with clients/vendors.
  • Obtain stakeholder feedback and recommend appropriate improvements.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication and project management skills.
  • Contribute as a team player with the ability to work independently in a frequently changing environment as well as a collaborative structure.
  • Ability to lead processes and drive meetings based on achieving established objectives.
  • Interact, influence and work with a diverse group of internal/external people.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and/or external customers.
  • Accurate, detailed-oriented, and able to problem solve/analyze.
  • Demonstrate computer proficiency.
  • Confident in speaking in front of small and large groups.
  • Be able to logistically manage team projects.
  • Be able to pack and move materials of 50 pounds.
  • Other duties as assigned. 



Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master's preferred. 


EXPERIENCE:

  

  

3-5 years of relevant work experience required, including one or more of the following:   

  • Agricultural education / FFA experience required.
  • Classroom teaching and/or facilitation experience required.
  • Logistics and planning for events and programs
