General Description:
The Production Water-spider works to ensure that packers have all necessary materials and helps complete tasks to allow for better productivity and efficiency.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- The water-spider is responsible for bringing packaging materials to packers, based on the client & order type. This includes, but is not limited to: boxes, poly mailers, packaging tape, inserts, stickers, etc.
- The water-spider helps clear out trash and cardboard from the production floor and individual packing stations
- The water-spider is responsible for preparing the assembly line.
- The water-spider is tasked with assisting on the assembly line when needed.
- The water-spider helps packers to build boxes or pre-prep orders ahead of time to allow for greater packing efficiency
- The water-spider is tasked with ordering supplies for the packaging lane, clearing out trash and empty pallets, and keeping up with the organization of the packaging lane
- The water-spider helps with the morning set-up, before packers arrive. Ensuring that all necessary packaging materials are available when packers initiate their work day.
- The water-spider will be required to help quality check (QC) inventory and maintain accuracy.
Requirements
Job Qualifications Mandatory:
- 1-2 years of prior or similar experience.
- Basic computer skills (e.g. personal computers, printers, email).
- Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol.
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
- Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or other inventory handling environment.
- Knowledge and ability to operate inventory control and related computer software. Actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members.
- Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent experience.
Work Environment:
- This is an Denver based position operating out a Warehouse environment
- Warehouse Environmental Conditions are as follows;
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
- Work environment is indoors.
- Warehouse temperatures may vary depending on outside temperatures.
Physical Demands:
- Sight: Must be able to see well enough to read product lot numbers and expiration dates, read reports, and use a computer.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate in person or via technology, and to hear warning signals of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Standing: Must be able to stand for shift duration.
- Walking: Must be able to walk without assistance to perform job duties.
- Mobility: Must be able to be mobile to operate warehouse machinery.
- Sitting: Must be able to sit for shift duration.
- Stooping, Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel for short periods of time.
- Lifting: Must be able to lift 30 lbs – 50 lbs continuously.
- Hand Mobility: Must be able to have mobility in hands to open and seal packaging, utilize keyboard functions, and utilize phone systems.

Salary Description
