Key Responsibilities

Design & Deployment Oversight

  • Lead the design, coordination, and deployment of ICN (Industrial Control Networks) and OT (Operational Technology) network systems to ensure on-time integration.
  • Act as the Security & Communications Lead, engaging with project teams to align technical resources with project requirements and schedules.
  • Coordinate technical installations for structured cabling systems and IP-based security solutions, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and CloudHQ standards.

Project Management & Compliance

  • Undertake regular on-site inspections to confirm adherence to CloudHQ’s technical standards for ICT systems.
  • Ensure technical compliance with employer’s requirements and produce compliance statements when needed.
  • Lead client technical workshops to gather and define specific project requirements.
  • Review and validate Project Initiation Documents (PID) before submission to clients to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with the project goals.

Security & ICT System Implementation

  • Oversee the implementation of IP-based security systems, including but not limited to:
    • CCTV Systems (IP CCTV)
    • Access Control Systems (Paxton ACS, CEM ACS, etc.)
    • Intruder Alarm Systems (e.g., Galaxy 500)
    • Intercoms and Panic Alarm Systems
    • LAN/Wireless Networks
    • IPTV and large-format display systems
    • IRS TV distribution systems
  • Ensure the      successful testing and commissioning of all security and ICT systems,      meeting performance standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support during the tendering and bid process for technical security  solutions, ensuring alignment with CloudHQ’s preferred technologies and      standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

  • Support project teams across the EMEA region during planning, design, construction, commissioning, and handover of data centre projects
  • Engage and manage multiple vendors, technical partners, and stakeholders across the region to ensure smooth execution of security and ICT installations.
  • Collaborate with clients, ensuring all technical requests are addressed professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Authorised Technology Partners (ATPs) and Technical Site Managers, acting as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries.

Operational & Technical Expertise

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and assess their impact on CloudHQ’s operations, incorporating the latest innovations into data center security and ICT systems.
  • Lead training courses and internal and external workshops, empowering teams with technical knowledge and best practices.
  • Drive high standards in customer service, ensuring all systems deliver value and functionality to meet end-user needs.

  

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise in Security & ICT Systems

  • Deep technical knowledge and minimum 8-10 years’ experience delivering security and ICT solutions, ideally with 3-5 years’ in data center sector or other mission-critical environments.
  • Proven experience implementing systems such as:
    • IP CCTV and video monitoring
    • IP Access Control Systems (ACS)
    • LAN/Wireless Networks
    • CCTV storage solutions
    • Intruder Alarm Systems (e.g., Galaxy 500)
    • IP Intercom Systems
    • Structured Cabling Systems, including installation and testing.
  • Strong understanding of ICT commissioning practices, including structured cabling and security system performance testing.

Project Management & Problem Solving

  • Experience leading multi-vendor deployments, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and technical requirements.
  • Exceptional ability to manage complex problem-solving, with analytical, organizational, and technical expertise to deliver practical solutions.
  • Proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet strict deadlines under pressure.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Familiarity with compliance for data center security standards and ICT industry protocols.
  • Proven ability to review, validate, and produce technical documentation (e.g., PIDs) and ensure deliverables meet project specifications.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent customer care and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide teams, fostering a culture of professionalism and technical excellence.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
  • Leadership-focused, with the ability to inspire and guide teams to deliver successful projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Security Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications:

  • Professional certifications are advantageous, such as:
    • PMP (Project Management Professional)
    • Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM)
    • CompTIA Security+
    • LEED AP or equivalent.
