Job Description

BME Fire Trucks is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and support our production team. This role demands a hands-on leader who can oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, drive productivity,  and foster strong cross departmental collaboration. The Warehouse Manager will be instrumental in driving efficiency, accuracy, and organization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Warehouse Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing issue tracking and resolution, including picking errors and inventory adjustments.
• Supervising all receiving, picking, and stocking activities.
• Maintaining effective communication across departments.
• Monitoring and supporting production needs.
• Managing and optimizing daily picking and issuance processes.
• Ensuring timely and accurate material flow from the warehouse to production areas.
• Overseeing daily team scheduling and task delegation.
• Implementing and refining strategies for truck builds ahead of demand.
• Driving initiatives focused on productivity, labor efficiency, and order accuracy.

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• Strong leadership qualities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Proven history of warehouse space optimization and layout improvements.
• Ability to collaborate cross departmentally with Procurement, Inventory, and Production teams.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and MRP/ERP systems.
• A safety-first mentality and commitment to creating a safe and secure work environment.
• Excellent      organizational habits and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a multifaceted team
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse leadership within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience managing multifunctional warehouse teams.
• Strong communication skills with a track record of team development and operational improvements.
