POSITION SUMMARY
Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) is seeking a highly energetic BC/BE physician to join the Primary Care Team and our 50-provider, hospital-employed, multi-specialty, outpatient practice. DEPT. SCOPE OF SERVICE
Conducting physical examinations on patients, obtaining medical histories, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, including prescribing medications, treatments, and therapies. Providing preventive care, counseling, and educating patients on wellness and healthy lifestyle habits. Referring patients to specialized medical practitioners when necessary. Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records of each patient's medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes. Continuously stay informed of the latest research, technology, and treatment methods in the field of family practice. Adhering to all healthcare laws, regulations, and ethical standards
QUALIFICATION:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a residency program
- Board certification or eligibility for certification by the appropriate governing body
- Valid Vermont medical license to practice
- Valid Vermont DEA license
- CPR for Healthcare providers
- Proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures, including familiarity with the latest advancements.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to effectively assess and treat conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with emerging trends and research

Compensation Disclosure in Accordance with Vermont Act 155
In compliance with Vermont Act 155, Brattleboro Memorial Hospital provides the compensation range for this position in good faith. The listed range represents the pay scale reasonably expected for a successful candidate based on factors such as relevant experience, education, internal equity, and market competitiveness. Final compensation will be determined during the hiring process.
