Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a short-term private duty assignments supporting a post-operative client throughout the Austin area. This role is perfect for compassionate nurses with strong clinical experience looking for immediate, short-term work — with the potential for future assignments through our agency.
Assignment Location: Austin
Pay Rate: $45/hour
Assignment Type: Temporary (with potential for future shifts)
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one nursing care in a home setting
- Monitor post-op recovery and manage care plan per physician’s orders
- Manage post-operative drains (required)
- Document vitals and changes in client condition
- Communicate effectively with client, family, and care team
- Ensure client comfort and safety at all times
