POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the National Director of Quality Control, The Quality Control Administrator will be responsible for managing our inventory database, building inventory, repack and any other report needed during the operation, maintain packing materials inventory updated, updating costs of labor and materials in PTF ERP, updating repack calculator per item, verifying consistency of the information between grower packing list, PTF inventory and Vendors Inventories. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires a proactive and positive thinker who can exercise good judgment, effective communication, and initiative.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain and update the inventory database, via enterprise resource planning (“ERP”) to ensure accurate and timely information for effective decision making.
• Sort and pull data daily from Smarterm to build reports of inventory, repack, forecast, etc.
• Communicate any critical inconsistencies that may negatively impact allocations inventory levels.
• Build comparison tables for packing materials, labor and storage costs.
• Update repack calculator per item.
• Maintain Labor and Materials costs updated in PFT system.
• Verify repack and materials invoice charges and subrogate for invoice approval.
• Support repacks and sales task in Smart Term or any other software implemented by the organization.
• Support with Work order creation.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Any combination of education and experience that is likely to provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position will be considered. Typically, this includes:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution, in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 1 years of direct or related experience with accounting, costing review or inventory maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of direct or related experience in the produce industry.
• English speaker. Spanish is a plus.

• Stress level for the position is low to moderate. High during peak season.
• Noise level in the office and cold storage is usually noise level low to moderate.
• Temperature in cold storage can be at 32F.
