We are looking for a dependable and motivated Custodian to maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards at an Administrative Building that is approximately 80,000 square feet, set on 5 acres. The ideal candidate is an experienced individual who can provide high-quality service and ensure tenant comfort and safety.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize all surfaces in offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, as assigned
· Clean and sanitize restrooms and showers
· Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors
· Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas
· Remove trash and debris from and facility grounds
· Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
· Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly
· Ensure all security protocols are followed
· Maintain supply closets and inventory of supplies
· Respond to cleaning or maintenance requests in a timely manner
· Manage assigned work orders (may include data entry within the client’s work management system).
- High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
- Must have knowledge of acceptable cleaning and sanitation procedures and understanding of occupational safety and health regulations.
- Ability to work on site during normal working hours; position may require occasional call-ins.
- US Citizenship required and ability to pass a government clearance.
- Experience working in a government facility.
Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, it may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
Security Clearance Requirements
It is mandatory that all ICMS personnel working onsite at a federal facility meet federal government security clearance standards. ICMS shall submit security clearance information for each employee, as required by current government identification card application procedures and future requirements, as applicable.
Job Type - Full-time (Monday-Friday, 7:00 to 3:30pm) and On Call/ Emergency Support
Work schedules are subject to change based on client and company needs. This person will be on call regularly and available for and to respond to emergencies off shift.
Pay Rate: $17.84/hour plus Health & Welfare benefits
