Job Description
Lease Processing Agents provide outstanding customer service to our Merchants and Customers through phone, email, and chat. Lease applications are processed using Acima’s own online lease origination portal. Agents perform in-depth reviews and analysis of the applications submitted prior to issuing the customer or merchant a credit decision. Agents also provide support to the customer and retailers during the various stages of the lease funding process.
Position Functions
- Issue credit decisions based on current company guidelines
- Auditing applications to ensure accuracy
- Retailer support through phone, email and chat
- Customer application support through phone and email
- 80% of the support provided is via phone (phone experience is encouraged)
- Documentation review for accuracy and information gathering
- Verify applicant’s employment through written and/or verbal communication with applicant’s employer.
- Communicate with applicant’s bank to confirm banking information.
Schedule and Hours
Full-time positions available now
Our department is open Monday – Saturday from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm.
As the department must mirror our retailers’ hours. You will be required to work a rotation of 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday per month. Our Agents have one scheduled day off during the week to provide work/life balance.
Compensation
Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications, compensation starts at $15 an hour. Shift differential pay is awarded for weekends and time worked after 5 pm.
Experience Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service in a call center or office environment. Banking experience is helpful in this role.
