We are Looking for:
A medical scribe with experience in assisting physicians by documenting patient encounters and medical history in real-time and enabling physicians to focus on patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately document patient encounters and medical history, including symptoms, diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans.
- Organize and maintain medical records, ensuring that they are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Assist physicians with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.
- Monitor and update patient charts and medical history, ensuring they are current and accurate.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient care is coordinated and effective.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, by maintaining patient confidentiality and security of medical records.
- Stay current on medical terminology, procedures, and coding, to ensure accurate and efficient documentation.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude in all interactions with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Support physicians during procedures, including preparing equipment and supplies and assisting with patient positioning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Two years of medical scribe experience
- Medical students are considered if they have completed Medical Terminology and/or Anatomy & Physiology
- Bilingual Spanish required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail,
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
