About the Role: Veterinary Surgeon


As a key member of our surgical team, you will:

  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for a variety of surgical conditions, including orthopedic injuries, soft-tissue diseases, and complex wounds.
  • Collaborate closely with departments such as Emergency, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Critical Care, Cardiology, and Oncology to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Oversee consultations, rechecks, procedures, surgeries, and interdepartmental transfers.
  • Contribute to the development of workflows that enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in training programs aimed at enhancing the surgical proficiency of our Emergency Room doctors.

Requirements
  •  DVM (or equivalent) + residency-trained or board-certified in surgery
  • Maryland (and Virginia, optional) veterinary license in good standing
  • Strong communicator, ethical, organized, and committed to top-tier care
  • Positive, team-first attitude—and dedication to mentorship and growth
