We are looking to hire a full-time Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic who is responsible for diagnostics and repairing the mechanical & electrical parts of heavy-duty diesel tractors/trucks.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose issues and respond promptly to equipment failures.
- Maintain, repair, and service all vehicle components, including engines, electrical systems, wheels, tires, brakes, axles, suspension, and bodywork.
- Provide own tools, toolbox, and air tools.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform all duties with honesty, integrity, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records for each repair and service performed.
Requirements
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and working with manual and power tools (must be able to lift up to 100 lbs).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic welding skills preferred (Oxy/Acetylene, MIG, and ARC).
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one.
- 3–5 years of hands-on fleet mechanic experience.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Experience performing routine maintenance and service tasks.
- Skilled in inspecting vehicles for faults and performing necessary repairs.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare accurate work estimates and quotes.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Pass background check.

- Weekends as needed
